How it works
Innovative Tyre Sealant Composition
The S.E.A.L. product is a Green coloured gel, sold in poly cans. This makes it easy to handle and transport.
S.E.A.L. is a compound that comprises of a mixture of Glycol, Water and Sealing fibres. The gel is formed by cellulose products and stabilized by addition of soluble fibre solution.
The sealing fibres contains a unique blend of synthetic fibre, synthetic compound and binding sediment that is key to the effective sealing properties of S.E.A.L!
To use S.E.A.L, a quantity of the compound is pumped into the tyre of a vehicle by means of a high pressure canister / applicator. The quantity will depend on the size of the tyre.
Driving with the vehicle evenly coats the interior of the tyre with the compound. Should any object penetrate the tyre, the sealant will seal the punctured area around the object. If the
object is removed the sealant flows into the puncture hole under the action of air pressure within the tyre to fill and seal the hole providing an instant repair of the hole. The size of holes it is able to plug varies from tyre to tyre depending on the ply thickness of the tyre and the way the puncture occurs.

Application
Designed for Heavy Duty Applications
While other known tyre-sealant compositions do provide puncture protection, they have not been entirely satisfactory.
One problem is the dispersion within the tyre. Some tyre sealants tend to settle at the bottom of the tyre or being unevenly dispersed on the inner surface of the tyre. These compositions can only seal smaller holes on a temporary basis and are not designed for heavy duty applications such as Earth Moving, Mining and Farming vehicles.
It is also known to provide aerosol cans of sealant for an instant temporary repair. The sealant is injected into the tyre after a puncture has occurred. These sealants are designed to allow the driver to get the vehicle to a garage for repair. The foam and rubber latex solutions tend to be very sticky. It forms a sticky residue within the tyre, such that many garages will refuse to repair the tyre as a result.

The objective of the S.E.A.L product development was to overcome these problems. Seal provides an improved tyre sealant which is effective in operation, easy to apply with an improved lifespan and enhances economical tyre operations.
